Battle Of The "Urbanites"
Work in the financial district? If you do, 1 whole dollar will buy you a combo package of the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post, according to the good folks at AMNY‘s Urbanite blog.
But the name “Urbanite” sounds familiar. Oh yeah… it was the New York Times‘ daily entertainment e-mailer. The one that was quickly renamed “UrbanEye” to avoid copyright entanglements. Except that the NYT Urbanite debuted in 2006 & the earliest posts on AMNY‘s blog only date back to January 2008.
Whoops.
