More than 500,000 artists use BandPage to share their songs, schedules, and biographies with fans. Today, BandPage has partnered with XBox Music and VEVO to give artists access to more fans on these platforms as well.
BandPage serves a central profile to connect artists’ Facebook, Pandora, WordPress, and Twitter accounts. Artists who use XBox Music, Microsoft’s music streaming service; and VEVO, a music video platform, will now also be able to incorporate BandPage into to their profiles.
On XBox Music, they’ll be able to add their pictures and biographies to their profiles. On VEVO, they’ll be able to share their pictures, biographies, and also promote their tour dates and merchandise.
“Musicians lose revenue when there is a wrong ticket link to their show or when it’s not even listed. We can’t engage our fans if there’s an outdated bio or photos,” said Rusko, a DJ and musician who uses the service, in a statement. “Now I have the ability to change or add that information and that makes a significant impact to our bottom line. With BandPage the days of reaching fans by putting up a poster on a telephone pole are done.”
Sorry, telephone poles.
