Backstage Magazine Lists Top 30 Up-and-Coming Performers
It’s a heck of a day for Karine Vanasse. The Drummondville, Quebec native and former co-star of ABC-TV series Pan Am is on the cover of this week’s issue of Backstage magazine and crowns the publication’s first-ever “Backstage 30,” a list of up-and-coming performers with major industry traction.
“We got recommendations from a dozen casting directors and industry people,” Backstage executive editor Daniel Holloway tells FishbowlLA. “We factored that information together with performer social media footprints.”
The second actor on the list, Marc André Grondin, is also a Quebec native.
