At the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif., Samie Gebers (pictured) studies broadcast journalism. For local newspaper the Santa Clarita Signal, she produces video content during the week and reports on weekends.
This past weekend, she hit the Hollywood jackpot. A story about a guy who dreamed of owning a DeLorean for years, finally bought one about a month ago and decided to clock it up to a Back to the Future-worthy 88 miles per hour on Highway 14, Friday around 9 p.m.
