Baby Boomers to Cause Further Surge in Facebook Use

Facebook adoption is still growing. Despite having 600 million users worldwide, there’s room for more. I even know a few people who aren’t on it yet … and that’s here in New York. When I read the latest eMarketer report on Facebook adoption and growth forecast, I was surprised to see how much potential there still is in the United States.

This year, eMarketer forecasts that Facebook will have more than 132 million U.S. Facebook users this year – a pretty hefty jump from just shy of 117 million last year.
