Cold calling, radio, TV, traditional ads and paid search are all used by every B2B marketer in the run-up to their show. But after that social media takes over.
A November 2014 study by Regalix found that 91 percent of B2B marketers use social media during their events, which finished first in the poll ahead of mobile apps (82 percent) and mobile messaging (80 percent).
Social media and liaising with social communities was also used by the vast majority of B2B marketers in their pre-event schedule, and more than half (52 percent) used social following the show.
