Atlantic Names Michael Kelly Award Finalists
The finalists for this year’s Michael Kelly Award have been announced. The award — in its 10th year — is in honor of Kelly, who edited two Atlantic Media publications and was killed while covering the Iraq war. The winner of the $25,000 prize will be announced April 14.
2013 Michael Kelly Award finalists:
- Alberto Arce, the Associated Press. Arce is honored for his work in Honduras.
- David Barboza, The New York Times. Barboza is honored for his piece on Wen Jiabao, the Prime Minister of China.
