At Today's Press Briefing...

Commenting on RNC Chairman Michael Steele’s apology to Rush Limbaugh, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs had this to say at today’s press briefing:

“I was a little surprised by the speed in which Mr. Steele, the head of the RNC, apologized to the head of the Republican Party.”

TVNewser also points out– Gibbs knocked CNBC’s Jim Cramer for calling President Obama’s budget the “greatest wealth destruction by a president” on this morning’s Today Show.

“I’m not entirely sure what he’s pointing to to make some of the statements… And you can go back and look at any number of statements he’s made in the past about the economy and wonder where some of the back-up for those are too,” Gibbs responded to a question posed by NBC’s Tom Costello on duty at the WH.
