Assassin's Creed Pirates announced for mobile launch this fall

Game developer and publisher Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Pirates, a new standalone mobile title in the popular Assassin’s Creed franchise. The game will come to smartphones and tablets, and will take players to the Golden Age of piracy in the Caribbean.

Assassin’s Creed Pirates places players in the role of Alonzo Batilla in the early 1700s. As a young captain, players must manage their crew, balance upgrades for their ship and recruit new crew members in a bid to become a feared pirate, claiming as much treasure as possible along the way.
