Following last week’s nominations for the 2013 National Magazine Awards, the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) has announced the finalists for the year’s top prize, Magazine of the Year, which honors “editorial excellence in all Magazine Media, including print, online, tablets and smartphones.” ASME didn't take any risks with this year’s nominees, three of which—Glamour, National Geographic and Time—were past winners. Also nominated were Esquire and New York.
All five titles have also received nominations in other categories.
