Arianna Huffington Talks International Expansion

HuffPost founder eyes China

The Huffington Post has been on a whirlwind of international expansion. Today, 40 percent of its audience comes from outside the U.S., and according to its namesake president and editor in chief, more than half of the world’s GDP has its own HuffPost. Earlier this week, plans for HuffPost Korea were announced.

Speaking at the 2013 Business Insider Ignition conference Wednesday, Arianna Huffington said her goal is for each of them to rank among the top 5 general news sites in their respective countries in the next two years, and that all of the sites are ahead of schedule.
