Apple confirmed today that the iPad 2 will indeed be available in 25 more countries on March 25: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
The iPad 2 will be sold for a suggested retail price starting at $499 USD for the (16GB) Wifi model and from $629 USD for the iPad 2 (16GB) with Wi-Fi + 3G.
The iPad 2 is sold out in the US, and the current shipping estimate is around 6 weeks. It was widely expected that Apple would delay the international release so it could divert the iPads to fill back orders in the US. Sadly, this did not happen.
