The company is reportedly talking to several local services companies in hopes of improving its poorly received maps application and integrating more local services into its mobile products.

Apple already gets its local reviews and listings from companies such as Yelp.

The Foursquare talks involve Apple senior vice president Eddie Cue, the Journal reports.
