The 2 Best Ways to Get Asia-Pacific Social Media Users to Share Your Content [STUDY]

If you’re using social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to promote your products or services to users in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, what’s the best way to get them to become advocates for your brand and share your updates with their friends and families?

Answer: be a source of information. Marketing agency Branded surveyed APAC social media users aged 18 and over and found that two in five were most likely to share content that they felt was informative or educational, with Indonesian users particularly receptive to this type of post.

Funny or entertaining updates were popular with 35 percent of respondents – notably in Hong Kong – while cause-related or political content was the least likely to be shared.
