AOL's New Executive Team

paidContent obtained an internal memo from AOL chairman and CEO Tim Armstrong outlining the new management structure at the company.

New appointments included Jeff Levick taking responsibility for scaling Advertising.com and rolling out the company’s self-service advertising platform; John Kannapell, who had been overseeing AOL’s search and local initiatives, to acting head of local and mapping; Jon Brod, who was with Patch before AOL acquired it, as head of AOL Ventures; Kim Partoll promoted to chief operating officer; Phil Nelson taking on the role of head of Asia-Pacific; and Ted Cahall promoted to chief technology officer.
