Anthony Cumia Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

What a guy.

Anthony Cumia, the former co-host of the Opie and Anthony radio show, has been arrested on strangulation, assault and unlawful imprisonment charges.

CBSNewYork reports that Cumia was arrested in his Long Island home after police received a call from a 26-year-old woman. A police spokesperson said Cumia “got into an argument with an individual that stemmed into this physical violence.”

Alan Schwartz, Cumia’s lawyer, commented “Mr. Cumia emphatically denies the allegations brought against him, and is optimistic that when the truth comes out, he will be exonerated.”

Cumia was fired by SiriusXM last year after he went on a racist Twitter rant.
