The editors at the New York Times have asked 10 writers to review the decade. Anthony Bourdain host of the show “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” reviewed 2007 in a piece titled “Foodie Nation.”

He writes:

The brilliant, pioneering work of LA Weekly’s Jonathan Gold was honored with a Pulitzer Prize, the first time for a food writer – and this, surely, was a Very Important Moment.

When confronted with the news, Gold wrote on his Twitter feed:

Wow.

Swoon.
