Another Subtle Change: Facebook Pages Can Now Be Added to Friend Lists
Facebook has just rolled out a product update that won’t have a big impact on the user experience today, but does reflect the way that Facebook is headed in the longer run: the default view of the Friends tab has been changed from “All Friends” to “All Connections” to include Facebook Pages, and Pages can now be added to Friend Lists.
In other words, the differences between Facebook profiles and Facebook Pages are becoming fewer and fewer within the system, and Facebook is making it easier to categorize and organize which Pages you follow (in an asymmetrical relationship) much like it has for friends for a long time.
