The fashion industry in the U.S. — and the magazines that cover it — has suffered throughout the recession. But the industry’s leaders are not ready to take their hits lying down.

Earlier this week, the Council of Fashion Designers of America held a town hall meeting to discuss Fashion Week and its dwindling relevance.
