And now for something completely different!
We have one seemingly bigoted conservative trash talking another seemingly bigoted conservative over one of the most racist statements said this year. America the Beautiful, amirite?! Remember Donald Trump’s less-than-graceful entrance into the 2016 presidential election?
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people.”
Apparently, he was plagiarizing that classy sentiment, so says Ann Coulter. She claims her latest book was the launching pad and source of that south-of-the-border lovefest.
“Donald Trump read it, so you can understand everything that’s happening over the next year if you read it,” she said of Adios, America: The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country Into a Third World Hellhole, in an exchange posted to YouTube by Truthdig. “That’s where he got that spicy stuff on Mexican rapists.”
Coulter, not terribly impressed with the Donald, believes she may have to think about a new day job if he wins. Think Alec Baldwin but not too much cuter:
The only way out, in Coulter’s estimation, is if “Trump saves us” by winning his audacious grab for the Oval Office. If not—well, she could be out of a job.
“I trust Americans to do the right thing on everything,” she told Loftus, “but if we don’t stop our current immigration policy, there will be no point to what I do … no point to Fox News, no point to writing political books—if I ever write another book, unless Trump gets elected, it will be a cookbook.”
