Brands Can Use Animated GIFs in Facebook Video Ads

The social network also rolled out other tweaks to its Ads Manager

Facebook quietly added the ability for brands to include animated GIFs in their video ads.

Affinitiv digital marketing specialist Chris Ruberg shared the screenshot below, displaying a pop-up atop the part of Facebook’s Ads Manager where brands would create video ads.

Ruberg also shared the screenshots below of other recent tweaks to Ads Manager.

A new date comparison feature allows advertisers to compare their results from different date ranges.

Ads Manager users can also hide columns in the results of the date comparison feature to clean up their displays.

Finally, Facebook is allowing Ads Manager users to create graphs to help them better analyze their estimated reach compared with their ad spend.

Ads Manager users: Have you noticed any of these recent updates?
