Android OS 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich" People App & Social API

Google revealed details of Android OS 4.0 codenamed “Ice Cream Sandwich” (ICS) during a joint press conference with Samsung on Tuesday. Samsung announced the Galaxy Nexus which will be the first phone to be based on ICS. ICS unifies the currently split smartphone (Android OS 2.x) and tablet (Android OS 3.x) platforms. ICS brings new features to Android including resizeable widgets, a new voice input engine and, of course, more social communication options.
