40 years of award-winning magazine design and eight years of shiny leotards will be celebrated at the Society of Publication Designer’s “Solid Gold” party this Thursday night. They’ll be honoring the Gold Medal, Magazine of the Year and Herb Lubalin Lifetime Achievement Award winners from the past four decades, who will all join Dionne Warwick in a choreographed ensemble number interpreting the stunning history of editorial design.
