'American Idol' Spawns New Aerosmith Fans

Steven Tyler’s seat at American Idol judge’s table is introducing him and his band Aerosmith to a new crop of fans.

The Hollywood Reporter says sales of the band’s 1994 hits album, Big Ones, has spiked 260 percent in the weeks since he joined the show. Other greatest hits albums and one of the band’s song’s frequently sung by Idol contestants, I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, are also getting a shot in the arm in terms of sales.
