Amazon to Open New Fulfillment Center in Phoenix, Arizona
The Amazon empire continues to expand.
Amazon announced today that its 4th Arizona distribution center will be opening later this year. The new facility will be 1 of 4 in the Phoenix metropolitan area, and when complete it will be approximately 1.2 million sq. ft in size. The 4 centers will cover about 4 million sq ft and employ thousands of workers.
“We continue to expand Amazon’s presence in Arizona, adding hundreds of additional jobs at our new facility,” said Dave Clark, vice president, Amazon North American Operations.
