Amazon is going after Apple’s iPad directly in its new Kindle ad. As you can see in the above video, Amazon is attacking the iPad’s readability in direct sunlight.
Amazon is also pushing its low price, as the woman in the ad points out that the eReader is only $139.
It could be a big battle between the eReader and the tablet this holiday season. Amazon is bringing the Kindle to a number of retail stores this year including Staples and BestBuy. Apple is rumored to release the iPad in Target stores, which already sell Kindles.
