Amazon Server Problem Causes Instagram, Vine & Netflix Outage
If you were trying to post to Instagram or Vine yesterday, or stream a movie on Netflix, or book an Airbnb rental, you may have experienced some error messages. Well, that is due to a glitch in an Amazon server in Virginia where these companies host their content. According to AWS Service’s health dashboard page, the problems occurred at two servers from about 1-6pm PDT. The issue has been restored.
Instagram, Vine and Airbnb tweeted about issues on Sunday afternoon.
