Amazon Has Opened a Kindle Store & Self-Pub Platform in Mexico

Amazon Mexico has opened a Kindle Store in Mexico. The Mexican Kindle store has more than 2 million titles including 70,000 in Spanish including titles by Carlos FuentesGabriel Garcia Marquez and Isabel Allende. Mexican consumers can buy eBooks through apps or on Kindle devices. The devices are available from Amazon, as well as in Gandhi stores in Mexico.

Amazon has also expanded its self-publishing platform Kindle Direct Publishing south of the border. Independent authors and publishers in Mexico can use the toolset to sell their books in more than 175 countries worldwide.
