Amazon is Giving Away Free MP3s with CD Sales
Watch out Apple, Amazon has a new program that hopes to load Amazon Cloud users up on MP3s. Amazon introduced a new program called “Amazon AutoRip,” through which they are giving customers who buy select CDs free MP3s of the album.
The program is good not only on CDs purchased today and going forward, but it is good all the way back to CDs bought in 1998. And customers don’t have to do anything. MP3 versions of AutoRip CDs that customers bought previously from Amazon’s music store will be delivered to their Cloud Player libraries for free.
