Amanpour Recalls Memories With her Father

With Father’s Day coming up this Sunday, HuffPost‘s Eric Villency sat down with ABC “This Week” host Christiane Amanpour to talk about her relationship with her father. The series is called “Conversations about my father.”

Amanpour’s father is 96. He fled Iran in 1979 during the aftermath of a revolution. She speaks of her “unspoken support” of her traveling to war-torn countries. He’s also a critic, once calling her and asking, “How could you be so rude to the President of the United States?”
