Score one for Gilbert Cruz. The Vulture editorial director, in tandem with his New York magazine colleagues, put together a memorable sendoff Friday for departing editor Amanda K. Dobbins: a personalized site page.
The above taste, with its hilarious list of “banned” subjects, is just part of the fun. Also headlined on the Vulture farewell tear-sheet is some contentious business involving Gillian Flynn and Gone Girl.
As reported by Media Life magazine, Dobbins is moving on to Glamour magazine, where she starts November 17 as senior editor. Maybe the folks there can mock up a similar, welcome cover.
