Alltel Wireless has just launched Alltel Avatars, a 3D animated MMS greeting service that lets subscribers create their own personalized greetings, FierceMobileContent reports. (And you thought you’ve seen enough animated greetings on the desktop Web.)
Alltel Avatars “offers users hundreds of pre-produced greetings as well as templates to create their own greetings via user-generated content—users may add emoticons, personal audio clips and digital signatures, as well as animate images from their photos, complete with text or audio messages.”
