Allan Lengel to Cover Real Estate At Post

From the announcement:

We are pleased to announce that Allan Lengel will be joining the real estate section as a reporter. Allan has covered law enforcement in the Metro section for several years. His extraordinary energy and dogged reporting have helped keep the Post competitive on stories like the anthrax attacks and the coverage of Rep. William Jefferson, the congressman whose freezer contained $90,000 in cash.

He also has a knack for features that bring ordinary people to life, such as his history of Ben’s Chili Bowl, his profile of FBI agent Brad Garrett and his piece about a homeless man whose dog had died.

We were delighted to find that Allan also has a strong interest in real estate and we were impressed by his many engaging story ideas. We think he will be a strong addition to the real estate team.
