Al Gore In Vanity Fair
It’s good to be Evgenia Peretz. The Vanity Fair writer and daughter of former New Republic EIC Marty Peretz just scored an interview with Al Gore in VF‘s October issue.
The piece is also a long apologia by Gore for the 2000 Presidential campaign. Lots of background information is included on minutae of the campaign and the Love Story and “I founded the internet” fiascos. As Peretz puts it, “he’s not going to announce his candidacy in the last paragraphs of a Vanity Fair article.”
