AG Holder Meets With 9/11 Victims' Families About 'NOTW' Hacking Claims

FBI investigation is ongoing

Following last month’s revelation that News of the World journalists may have hacked into the voicemails of 9/11 victims, Politico is reporting that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is meeting today with the families of several victims to update them on the FBI investigation into the alleged hacking.

A private investigator (and former New York City cop) told the Daily Mirror last month that he had been contacted by News of the World journalists offering to pay him to retrieve phone records belonging to 9/11 victims, but that he turned the job down.
