Adweek is continuing its annual Hot List issue, despite reports to the contrary. Hillary Frey, Managing Editor of the magazine, offers some teasers for the list of media heavy hitters:
The rankings—based on financial performance metrics, influence footprint, and product quality indicators—yield big wins for one publisher in particular. In fact, what the numbers show is that the traditional power and prestige in the magazine industry has lately been turned on its ear.
She also says that there’s a new (unnamed) “Queen of Fashion” in town. We’d be lying if we told you we weren’t crossing our fingers.
