On Saturday night NPR is bringing “Snap Judgement Live” to Washington’s Sidney Harman Hall.
Produced in Oakland, Calif., the event involves real stories from real people. This weekend host Glynn Washington (pictured here) will lead eight brave storytellers on stage who will be accompanied by the band, Snap Judgment Playaz. Washington describes the show as “intimate, sexy, musical, real-life storytelling that allows audiences to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes.”
From an NPR interview with Washington:
What can people expect on Saturday?
“Expect to go somewhere you have never been. Expect magic. Expect to put on someone else’s skin. Expect to feel. Snap storytellers don’t just tell you a tale; they drop you into THEIR world. And our band! Alex Mandel and the Snap Judgment Playaz know how to rock a crowd.”
In the details…Tickets are on sale now. Orchestra seats are $30; mezzanine seats are $20 and available for purchase online through the Sidney Harman Hall website and at the box office.
