Adam Lambert Still Adjusting to Life as a 'Gay Celebrity'
The latest cover story in The Advocate is an interview with American Idol‘s most memorable runner-up, Adam Lambert. All about the nature of his post-Simon celebrity as he puts the finishing touches on a second album.
The good news is that Lambert continues to become more comfortable with the media spotlight and says that being in a healthy personal relationship (which he currently is) helps a great deal. The not-so-good news is that many outlets still want to harp on his sexuality:
“It’s been the weirdest battle with identifying as a gay man in mainstream culture,” he says.
