ABC-Disney Inks Deals With Netflix, Amazon

But you won't be getting last week's episodes

Walt Disney Co. has just signed two separate streaming deals with Netflix and Amazon to increase their content offerings from Disney and ABC. But before you get too excited about watching last night's Grey’s Anatomy, here’s the kicker: New episodes of current shows won’t show up for at least a month. And that’s just on Netflix.

Under terms of the Netflix deal, which extends Disney-ABC’s current licensing agreement with the streaming site, subscribers will continue to have access to all past seasons of on-air shows including ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives—as well as episodes from current seasons, but only 30 days after the season ends—plus full seasons of older ABC shows like Lost and Ugly Betty, ABC Family series including The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and Disney Channel shows like Phineas and Ferb.
