AARP Names New Senior Vice President/Editor In Chief Of AARP Media Properties

AARP has promoted Hugh Delehanty to senior vice president and editor in chief of AARP media properties. Delehanty formerly worked as the senior vice president and editor in chief of AARP’s publications. In his new role, he will oversee the vision, execution and integration of editorial content across all of AARP’s media, including AARP.org, AARP The Magazine, AARP Bulletin, AARP VIVA, AARP TV, AARP Radio, AARP Books and related digital properties.

Before joining AARP, Delehanty was an editor at a variety of magazines, including People, Sports Illustrated and Women’s Sports and Fitness. He has also worked as the chief editor of the Utne Reader.
