A Comics App for Kids
Comixology, the company behind digital comics apps for DC, Mavel and IDW to name a few, has created an app specifically designed for young readers.
The Comic4Kids iOS app features comics from more than twenty publishers including: Adventure Time, Archie, Garfield, Nancy Drew, Smurfs, Peanuts, Sabrina, Sonic, The Simpsons Comics, and Young Justice. The free app allows readers to purchase issues of different digital comic books. There is also some free content available.
The app features a “parent-friendly sync” which lets parents that have an existing account on comiXology – give their child access to the account through a kid-friendly filter.
