70 Journalists Killed on the Job in 2013

Have you ever left the office at night thinking about what a bad day you just had?

Well, we have to remind ourselves it’s absolutely nothing in comparison to the 70 journalists who were killed on the job this past year.

As reported by ABC News, per the Committee to Protect Journalists which has been reporting journalist deaths since 1992, this number includes 29 journalists who perished covering the civil war in Syria and 10 in Iraq.
