Super Bowl commercial premieres used to be reserved for game day, but thanks to the growing popularity of online video more brands than ever have released their big day commercials early on YouTube to get the pre-game viral buzz going. We’ve put together a list of ten of the most popular 2012 Super Bowl commercials to be released so far. Which is your favorite? Official 2012 Honda CR-V Game Day Commercial – "Matthew’s Day Off" A 0:09 second clip featuring Matthew Broderick as an older and wiser Ferris Bueller entitled ‘Coming Soon’ had the online world abuzz over the weekend. Some thought it meant a Ferris Bueller sequel was in the works, while others recognized the date at the end of the clip—2.5.12—as the date of the Super Bowl and wondered who was behind the Super Bowl commercial teaser. Turns out it was a sneak peak at a Honda CR-V game day commercial. The nearly two and a half minute spot hit YouTube shortly after the "Coming Soon" clip and has accrued over 9.6 million views so far. Check it out below. "A Dream Car. For Real Life." – 2012 Kia Optima Big Game Full Commercial Kia started building a buzz around their Super Bowl 2012 spot by releasing a 0:16 second teaser of Adriana Lima waving a racing flag, followed by a 5 hour long video of Adriana Lima waving a racing flag (yes, really 5 hours).
