Mayuko Kanazawa, a student at Tama Art University in Japan, was challenged recently to come up with a typeface without using a computer. So, she decided to photograph someone's leg hairs twisted into letter shapes. There are lowercase and uppercase letters. She even mocked up an Adidas ad with the font—and the results confirm that it's all but illegible in practice. It's also just a little gross—although OK, it's probably not the world's single nastiest font.
