What is it with the “cartographers” at certain massive, hyper-competitive, technology companies? Is it that since they can’t actually obliterate their competitors, they do it figuratively through incorrect maps? First, there was the—um—omission of Apple headquarters from Microsoft Earth’s maps of Cupertino back in July. Now, a merry band of Yahoo pranksters has claimed that 1600 Ampitheatre Parkway in Mountain View is the location of “The Dude’s Fish Store” which even has a barebones Web site.
