It seems book publishers are getting more comfortable with the Internet. Last year we wrote about the mammoth Web site for the even mammother novel Hunger’s Brides. And today we stumbled upon this site VidLit. It’s probably not news to most book lovers, but this site produces short animated Flash films about books—often with the authors reading excerpts. Book snobs might sniff at the notion that literature needs help from cartoons, but we very much enjoyed this
