Venice rejects ad with nude Julianne Moore

While Kate Moss parades around in her altogether for David Yurman without consequence, less-nude-looking Julianne Moore's advertisement for Bulgari has been struck down in Venice for being too risqué. Indeed, mayor Giorgio Orsoni demanded that the ad, destined for Doge's Palace overlooking St Mark's Square, be replaced by one in which Ms. Moore is fully dressed. This is an odd pang of conscience from Orsoni, since he's been letting Coca-Cola pollute the Bridge of Sighs with its odious logo, which Italian preservation group Fondo Ambiente Italiano called an "eyesore" because of "its glaring colors." Something tells me they wouldn't say that about Julianne Moore.
