People who remake classic horror movies should be slow-roasted on a spit. I actually sat through the shitty 2003 version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I won’t make the same mistake with The Hills Have Eyes, due out in March from director Alexandre Aja, who wasn’t even born when Wes Craven made the original in 1977. So yes, I am predisposed to despise this movie. Still, I’m particularly irritated by a site called Eyes on the Hills, which bills itself as “an unofficial fan site” of the movie.
