The short presentation at Monday night’s Advertising Week reception at the United Nations was hard to hear, at times, over the chatter of alcohol-lubricated attendees. More than once, a speaker had to shush the crowd. In that sense, it was no different than last year’s reception at Gracie Mansion. The big difference? Last year, the New York City representative was Mayor Mike Bloomberg; this year, an election year, it was Deputy Mayor Dan Doctoroff (seen here with Ron Berger and Ken Kaess).
