Delivering the keynote speech this morning at the Word of Mouth Marketing Association conference in New York, he explained that early adopters are people who subscribed to TiVo when it came out and now are busy downloading stuff to their Linux machines. Laggards, on the other hand, “are the people who still have a ‘12’ flashing on their VCR.”
